Areal Böhler Park

Gastronomy quarter

The Areal Böhler has meanwhile established itself as a new hotspot with four cool catering offers:

‘Les Halles’, ‘Rigatoni & Riesling’, ‘Böhler Café’ and ‘MagazinDrei’ all reflect the new attitude in the AREAL BÖHLER PARK, a cool urban oasis that will attract people from beyond Düsseldorf’s borders with its authentic, industrial vibe. A new modern venue that is different to the usual city-centre culinary experiences and the place to come for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A new addition is the RheinRiff, a cool event location with the world’s largest surf hall, beach club and bars.

At the four annual order events, it represents an additional attraction for all industry visitors to the Areal Böhler – in the form of stylishly designed cocoons for working, networking and relaxing that are tailored perfectly to the discerning fashion, shoes and lifestyle crowd.

The latest acquisition closes a gap in the gastronomic supply on the site. “Dileks Büdchen” in the old gatehouse at the main entrance offers a classic all-round assortment: in addition to newspapers, tobacco products and sweets, there are sandwiches and hearty snacks such as meatballs and sausages. In other words, a typical Rhineland kiosk.

A new sports and event location attracts visitors tat Areal Böhler.
The new beach club has 9,000 square metres: the highlight of the spacious location is the huge indoor surf wave. There are also other sports facilities, bars, lounges and a conference centre. The indoor area alone covers 6000 square metres and is equipped with bars and lounges. Further sports facilities such as beach volleyball or yoga are available. The same applies to the spacious exterior area of 2500 square metres. Another highlight are the meeting and conference rooms in the Working Area. In order to become climate-neutral, solar modules are installed on the entire roof of the hall.
